Darwin Haynes began his martial arts training as a U.S. Marine. He was stationed in Okinawa, where he studied traditional Okinawan Shorin Ryu under world class martial arts pioneer Master Eizo Shimabuku. When he left Okinawa, he continued his training in New York. Darwin received his Black Belt in Tang Soo Do from Masters Arthur Cohen and Richard Chun.  Since then, he as become a 5th degree Black belt, and has taught for 40 years. He is trained in the ISC pressure points system, and he has been a contributor and demonstrator for several Martial Arts Texts and videos. These include the book Lethal Floor Fighting, Ground Fighting Videos, Vol.1 & 2 and the Martial Arts Training Guide.
